RC Helping Hands, stands with women, children, and families in crisis—restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and creating brighter futures.

Family Time

OUR MISSION

At RC Helping Hands, our mission begins with breaking the cycle of domestic violence.

No woman or child should ever feel trapped in abuse—whether mental, verbal, or physical. We provide safe shelter, compassionate support, and resources that help women and families escape violence and begin again with dignity.

Mission Statement

Alongside this, we fight hunger and homelessness by offering meals, transportation, and housing assistance to those in crisis throughout the Antelope Valley.

Rhonda's vision drives RC Helping Hands: to restore hope, rebuild lives, and ensure that no one in our community suffers alone.

Helping others has always been in our founder's heart. Even when Rhonda went through times when no one was there for her, she continued to give—making sure no child went hungry and no family was forgotten.

OUR STORY

RC Helping Hands was founded from a place of deep compassion and personal experience.

Domestic violence, in all its forms—mental, verbal, and physical—has left too many women and children in our community without safety, stability, or hope. Rhonda could not ignore this.

“I don’t want to see anybody be hungry, and I don’t want to see anyone go through abuse of any kind.”

-Rhonda

For over 15 years, Rhonda and her family have gone out into the Antelope Valley to feed the homeless, often paying for meals out of her own pocket. What began as a family tradition of serving has grown into a greater calling: to not only feed the hungry, but to shelter and support women and families escaping abuse and homelessness.

Our Story

RC Helping Hands is more than a nonprofit—it is a lifeline. We provide:

Safe Shelter & Support

for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Transportation Assistance

so families can reach safety, resources, and stability.

Pathways to Stability

through housing support and connections to jobs.

Meals & Hunger Relief

for the homeless and food-insecure families.

OUR VISION

Our long-term vision is to establish safe transitional housing where women and children can heal, rebuild, and find stability

By securing grants, donations, and community partnerships, RC Helping Hands will expand its capacity to provide not only meals, but also shelter, resources, and access to job training.

No one deserves to go hungry, and no child deserves to grow up in crisis. With the help of our donors and community, we can make lasting change.
